What is your favorite guilty pleasure? – Watching Russian melodramas with my mom. What phrase or word do you find yourself repeating all too often? – "For instance" and Norwegian “hæ?” What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – You can't help someone who doesn’t want to be helped. Who or what inspires you? – Charismatic people. What is your greatest extravagance? – I'm definitely spending a lot more than I can afford on good coffee. Who are your favorite painters? – Henri Matisse, Salvador Dalí, Paul Gauguin, Georgia O’Keeffe, I also like the works of a Moscow based artist Misha Nikatin. Biggest pet peeve? – When people text “Guess what just happened?” and then stop texting. It’s a torture! What do you find magical? – I once had a cheesecake called “Death by Chocolate Cheesecake”.
